Jupiter Lion is a Valencia based psychedellic-krautrock band. For the presentation of his debut, their mates Polígono Hindú Astral were opening for them.
Polígono Hindú Astral are an electronic duo explorating avantgarde, minimalistic and ambient concepts from the seventies experimental bands.
With this poster I strongly managed to give the retro sci-fy aesthetics shared by the two bands.

With this poster I strongly managed to give the retro sci-fy aesthetics shared by the two bands.
I used and old picture from a magazine combined with vector art and a minimalistic layout.
Emphasizing the print grid from the scanned picture gave rich psychedelic effects to the surface of the poster and also reinforced the retro sci-fi feeling.
